Beautiful mahogany finish in excellent condition, refinished in the early 1980s.
The piano was restrung, the plate and soundboard refinished and the dampers replaced in the early 1980s.
In 2003 the action was rebuilt by Ris Piano and the shanks and flanges, hammers and wippens were replaced and fully regulated. The piano has hardly been played since then.
It has been cleaned, regulation checked and tuned in preparation for sale. The piano has a very responsive touch and a balanced rich tone.
Original ivories in excellent condition.
The piano has a full “Piano Lifesaver” system with both humidifier and dehumidifier components.
